Can Autism ever be funny?

“Can disabilities and humour co-exist together? Disability is a battle against adversity, but is it allowed to be funny?”

John Williams, a comedian who has a son with Autism, spoke out on BBC 4’s ‘Four Thought’ programme this Wednesday 6th May to tell some of the joyous tales of his life despite, and sometimes because of, his son’s diagnosis. Click here to hear his endearing and frightfully funny story.

“In the darkest of places, if you shine your light you may discover the brightest diamonds of all”.

John Williams shares more of his stories on his blog www.mysonsnotrainman.com/blog and is also due to bring out a book this year titled “My Son’s not Rainman” which is worth keeping an eye out for.
